2019 World Cup Nove Mesto: schedules and where to see it

Just one week after the start of the season in Albstadt, Germany, it is the turn of the Nove Mesto XCO World Cup. This will be the second race of the year and it comes with many open fronts. Nove Mesto is a very special circuit for any professional biker and can be the stage where we finally see if Kate Courtney is at a much higher level than the rest or if the era of Nino Schurter is giving way to new names.

Who won the Nove Mesto World Cup last year [2018]?

In 2018, the Short Track of Nove Mesto, in the category of men, was won by Sam Gaze after an intense fight with Van der Poel and Nino Schurter. The Swiss was trying to close the gap that had opened Van der Poel, and the Dutch was not able to finish the job.

The 2018 World Cup Nove Mesto was for a great Nino Schurter who was very solid and only Anton Cooper could stand up to him. Nino Schurter won the sprint, Anton Cooper was second and Maxime Marotte third.

Annika Langvad took the victory in a very close women's Short Track. Pauline Ferrand was second and Jolanda Neff third. The 2018 World Cup Nove Mesto also was won by Annika Lanvad after beating Jolanda Neff, second, to the sprint. Third was Pauline Ferrand at almost a minute.
