The Orbea Occam 2022 has a new linkage and is available in two versions

Since its release in 2020, the Orbea Occam and its asymmetrical design have become a benchmark Trail model that has collected critical and user acclaim. Now the Orbea Occam 2022 arrives with a new linkage and new versions.

News and versions of the Orbea Occam 2022

In mountain biking there are more and more different styles and riders are demanding more and more specific bikes, even within the same modality. For them Orbea has created two versions of the Orbea Occam 2022, Occam and the Occam LT.

But both share the big new feature of this Occam 2022; the new linkage design. The philosophy behind this change is that with fewer parts there is less chance of something not working as it should. Another interesting detail is the handy 4 key multi-tool which is held securely in place with magnets.

The Orbea Occam 2022 is made of OMR carbon, which the brand chooses for these types of bikes because of its good relationship between stiffness and ability to read the terrain. But both the new Occam and the LT version will be available in the Occam H version with an aluminium frame that also features new colours and graphics.

The now called Occam retains the geometry and suspension with 140 mm travel front and rear that has received such good reviews. At the rear it is fitted with a Float DPS shock and at the front with a Fox 34 fork.

Orbea Occam LT 2022

The Occam LT arrives as the wildest version of the model, with a more aggressive geometry and 150 mm travel, it is presented as a bike with many capabilities but more versatile than an Enduro, such as the recently presented Orbea Rallon.

The Occam LT is more efficient in pedalling for long days on the bike and its 150 mm Fox 36 fork combined with the Float X or DHX shock absorber make it the perfect bike for both long, uphill and downhill rides. In addition, the longer travel fork modifies the steering angle of the Occam LT by 0.5°, which increases stability and safety.

Customise the Occam 2022 with the MyO program

Naturally, Orbea's MyO customisation program is also present on the new Occam. Through the MyO platform you can get a bike that is unique in aesthetics and assembly. The Occam paintwork can be customised starting with the M10 model. And in the case of the Occam M30 and all Occam H models, there are several component options, from which you can choose wheels, derailleur, etc. during the ordering process.
