The presentation of the new Scott Spark 2022 took place in Leogang, Austria, at the same circuit where the third round of the World Cup will be held this weekend. The Scott SRAM team members were there with Nino Schurter at the head and we had the opportunity to see their new Spark up close. Do you dare to say how much it weighs?

If you want to know everything about the new integrated shock absorption system or how the geometry of the Scott Spark 2022 has changed, you can take a look at this other article where we tell you all about it.

Schuter mounts the new Syncros Fraser IC handlebar in 700mm width and with 100mm stem and -40°.

The new shock absorber system integrated into the seat tube together with the wireless rear derailleur makes the cleanest rear triangle we have ever seen on an MTB.
The Syncross SL 30mm wheels are made from a single piece of carbon
Schurter's Spark 2022 features a very discreet customisation with his name and the world champion's rainbow on his top tube.
The integrated chainstay guard also reduces chain noise with its wave shape.
The new 55mm chain line supports up to 40T chainrings, Nino here rode a 38T with SRAM's prototype integrated power meter.
The rear brake hose outlet is practically hidden in the chainstay and helps to integrate the assembly.
This cover gives access to the rear shock absorber and allows it to be checked and configured.
The Sag can be read from the outside and by removing the cover you can see the rubber that indicates the sag of the shock absorber.

Now the Spark 2022 can hold 2 water bottles, we will see if Nino uses them at the Cape Epic.
All cables are routed directly to the steering tube thanks to the new internal wiring system.

The Spark 2022 is equipped with SRAM's universal rear derailleur hanger.
The cable outlet for non-electronic rear derailleur is hidden under the chainstay.
The new Twinloc control is more compact and includes 3 levers for shock, fork and seatpost. Nino dispenses with the lever for the seatpost and continues with the mechanical solution of the adapted button on the handlebar.

Nino Schurter's Scott Spark 2022 ready to race weighs just 10.5 kg.
