Casey Brown will be the first woman in the RedBull Rampage

The RedBull Rampage is the most popular and important freeride competition. Almost every biker who win the Rampage practically make history, so the idea of a woman going to participate for the first time is a breakthrough for mountain biking.

Last year there were rumors about it, but now it's official. Casey Brown will be the first woman in the RedBull Rampage.

In an official statement of the race it has been confirmed that the RedBull Rampage 2019 will take place on October 25, and that as always there will be 21 bikers competing for the victory.

Of these 21 bikers, there are 10 that have already been granted a place in the final phase of RedBull Rampage. The remaining 11 will be decided in several pre-qualifying rounds. That's where Casey Brown's name appears as confirmed.

Casey Brown left in 2018 the Enduro World Series circuit to focus on freeriding, and being in the RedBull Rampage final would be his definitive recognition in this radical discipline.
