Victor Koretzky is the new number 1 in the UCI ranking

The UCI ranking has just been updated after the Albstadt World Cup and the change of leader in the men's category has been confirmed. Frenchman Victor Koretzky climbs to the first position after his victory in Germany while Brazilian Avancini stays in third place. Nino Schurter remains second.

Victor Koretzky on top in XCO 

Victor Koretzky, after a brilliant race, beat Nino Schurter last Sunday at the Albstadt World Cup. With this victory he took the overall lead for him and his team, and it has also allowed him to climb to the top of the UCI ranking. A classification that reflects well the route of each rider and the good moment of Koretzky. The Frenchman has won 6 of the last 10 races he has competed in.

 

Regarding the rest of the changes in the men's ranking, we could highlight that the Czech Ondrej Cink has entered the Top 5 or the 11 positions that the British Tom Pidcock has climbed up to 17th place.

In the women's category there have been no changes in the Top 3 led by Pauline Ferrand Prevot and followed by Loana Lecomte and Anne Terpstra.
